Hi Sandra! I know you’re a tiktoker and a former flight attendant, but can you tell us a little more about yourself?
Hi! My name is Sandra Jeenie Know. I currently own two restaurants and trying to be a fulltime content creator. Married to my husband johnny and have a weenie dog named Dexter. My korean name is Jeenie which is why my user id is jeenieweenie. I currently live in Vancouver, Canada but also go to LA often since Johnny runs his business in LA.
Right at the beginning, do you know where Slovakia is?
LOL I had to look at the map again and I missed Slovakia!! The closest I’ve been was to Budapest and Vienna. I hope to go one day to Slovakia!!
Why did you stop working as a flight attendant and what are you currently working on?
I quit to go back to business school to finish my degree.
I love your sense of humor and approach to life! Do you remember the most absurd question a passenger on board has ever asked you?
I did have a passenger ask how to roll down the window haha.
For many girls and young women, the work of a flight attendant is a dream job. Do you think that people idealize the work of a stewardess?
Even for me, I dreamed of being a flight attendant in high school but never was serious as I thought I would never get it because I was too short. But i just made the cut!. Many women/men i’ve asked have thought of it at least once to become one.
Where did you like to fly the most?
I loved flying to european countries the most. As I grew up in Canada, it was amazing to see so much culture and history in architecture and food was sooooooo good. I just love the chill vibes throughout Europe.
What makes the work of a flight attendant difficult and what are its advantages?
The extra benefits are that you live in Dubai for free! Everything is fully furnished, and accommodation is shared with roommates. During breaks you are accommodated in 4 – 5 star hotels. Free health care (Emirates has its own clinic), discounts on personal tickets, 30 days holiday, 1 free ticket for the trip home / year. The benefits are definitely that I traveled for free and got paid for it! You will meet people from all over the world and it has always been fun for me. However, while working as a flight attendant, you are exposed to many health risks such as stress, spaider veins, cosmic radiation, lack of sleep, depression, dry skin, unstable lifestyle, you have to clean up vomit, urine and even feces.
How does it feel to have almost 4 million fans? Has anything changed in your life?
I still can’t believe it and I still don’t believe it to be true haha. I’ve definitely changed my career path to wanting to become full time content creator as I’m having so much fun and laughing so much and making new friends. Other than having a few people come say hi to me on the street, everything else still feels the same lol.
And finally, dear Sandra, what would you say to your Slovak fans?
When i visit Slovakia, WHO WANTS TO TAKE ME TO COOL LOCAL PLACES AND EAT GOOD FOOD?!?!? (i love hanging with locals when i travel).
